Alabama Lawmaker Seeks to Support Medical Marijuana Oil
More and more we’re seeing new initiatives and legislation in favor of medical marijuana. It’s legal in nearly half the country now, with several states proposing legislative changes this year.
Here’s an article discussing how and why State Rep. Mike Ball is pushing for Alabama to allow medical marijuana oil. His actions were inspired from a family with a sick daughter who left Alabama and moved to Oregon to get the medical marijuana treatment they desired.
This article also demonstrates the growing scientific research that supports using CBD oil, a “derivative of the marijuana plant that has proven effective in cases of reducing seizures and does not yield an intoxicating high.”
