Body and Mind Cleveland Gives Back to The City Through Charity Work
Body and Mind Cleveland is a medical marijuana dispensary whose care extends far beyond supplying patients with clean, lab-tested medical cannabis. Embedded in the community, we regularly donate to various local charity groups, foundations, and family planning services. We constantly have our local clientele in mind, as well as their family members and friends. Every month throughout the year, we’re giving a portion of our sales to different charitable entities in Cleveland and the surrounding areas.
It’s important to show the community that we’re present and putting efforts into impacting positive change. Lorain County is right next to Cleveland and reaches out into far more rural areas of Ohio. This is the area of focus that we normally choose when deciding our charitable donations. . In Lorain County, there are several children, individuals, and families in need, and it is our goal to effect change.
Voices For Children
Body and Mind Cleveland will be helping Lorain County’s Voices for Children by donating a portion of our sales. Every year in Lorain County, children face abuse, neglect, and abandonment. It is up to a magistrate or judge to decide their future. To make a good decision the magistrate or judge needs information. Voices for Children, Court Appointed Special Advocate then come in to offer special care. They review records, interview parents and relatives, and foster parents, counselors, therapists, caseworkers, teachers, and most importantly, the child.
Family Planning Services
Body and Mind Cleveland will be donating a portion of our sales to the Family Planning Services (FPS) of Lorain County. FPS is a non-profit, reproductive healthcare organization with medical offices in Elyria, Ohio. We have been providing care to Lorain County residents since 1969. We provide confidential, high-quality, and low-cost reproductive health care to men and women.
A Special Wish Foundation
Body and Mind Cleveland will be donating to Lorain County’s chapter of A Special Wish Foundation. A Special Wish Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization dedicated to granting the wishes of children under the age of 21 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disorder.
